This summer, the waste heat utilisation of the refrigeration system at Logistics Centre 2 in Möhlin was optimised. Through the necessary hydraulic and software adjustments, a higher heat output of around 100 kW and longer operating times could be achieved.
Initial calculations have shown that we can save about 7'500 -10'000 l of heating oil or about 25'000 kg of CO2 per year. This means a halving of the current consumption. The installation of a control valve with integrated heating measurement allows a precise assessment of the optimisation achieved.
