Imbach Logistics Center Lucerne – Full e-power from the roof

The new photovoltaic system has been fully operational on the roof of Imbach Logistik AG's new logistics center in Lucerne since June 2025. While the first, smaller part of the system has been producing green electricity for five years, the second phase of construction has now also been completed.

This means that, following the installation at the Schachen logistics center (1,156 kWp, fall 2024), around 1,107 kWp are now installed at the Lucerne logistics center, diligently producing clean solar power. This is electricity that we can put to good use within the Galliker Group, whether for our buildings or, in particular, for our constantly growing fleet of electric trucks. In the future, we will therefore have the potential to produce over 20 GWh of electricity ourselves, which corresponds to the needs of around 4,400 households!

With the new system in Lucerne, the total area covered by panels increases to over 104,000 m2.

We are proud that both large logistics buildings at Imbach Logistik AG now have high-performance photovoltaic systems, thereby making a significant contribution to our goal of climate neutrality.
