Galliker already owns several commercial vehicles with alternative drive systems, including the world's first fully electric car transporter. To this end, they are also entering into partnerships with specialized companies to develop their own solutions. Drivers are trained in ecological, economical driving.

"In order to be able to expand the electrification of the fleet on an even larger scale, it is essential to further develop the batteries towards lighter, more efficient energy sources," Philipp tells us Galliker. "In addition, the charging infrastructure for trucks in Switzerland, but also throughout Europe, must be massively expanded." This is the only way to use alternative energies efficiently and across the board. "Management and executives exemplify sustainability," says Philipp Galliker, which also motivates employees. A more conscious approach to the environment should ultimately contribute to a rethink not only in the company, but also increasingly in private life.
