Since the beginning of May 2021, the Galliker branch in Aclens in western Switzerland has been CO2 - neutral with the first Hyundai hydrogen truck in its fleet.

The Galliker Western Switzerland team uses the truck for daytime deliveries and night-time deliveries in the field of pharmaceutical logistics. At weekends, the H2 truck ensures supplies to the Centre hospitalier universitarie vaudois (CHUV). Galliker Transport SA, Aclens is thus consistently pursuing the path of green logistics - with a commitment to sustainable action and respect for the environment and nature.

"Greenpower" project to be discontinued

The "Greenpower" innovation project in Dagmersellen will not be continued following a joint agreement between the partners involved. Following a comprehensive strategic reassessment by Emmi Switzerland, this decision was taken after consultation with the project partners. This decision reflects the economic and technological framework conditions that have materialized in the course of project development. In particular, the long-term economic viability, the complexity of implementation and the regulatory framework conditions were re-analyzed.
